A principle in life to remember is to travel light.
You are traveling all the time.
Travel light, live light, spread the light, be the light.
– Yogi Bhajan
by Guru Fatha Singh
On January 6 th , Yogi Bhajan had entered his second year of teaching Kundalini Yoga in the West, as it had been on January 5 th that he had given his first talk at the East West Cultural Center.
The date passed uneventfully, which was actually a relief to the Yoga Master. He had been warned there was a curse on anyone who openly shared the sacred, and till then secret, technology of Kundalini Yoga. Whoever defied the restriction was supposed to die before the coming of the second year.
On his 366 th day of teaching, Yogi Bhajan remarked to his student, Gerry Pond, "I knew that was a load of nonsense. I am who I am, and that is that!"
There had been no curse, or if there had, it had proven ineffectual in the face of the love and devotion of this special yogi.
