my name is Sat Nam Singh,
I have lived in the Espanola, New Mexico, USA, community for 30 years.
I had the blessing of being Yogi Bhajans driver for 10 years, and also traveled with him to Europe and India on several occasions. I would like to share with you a story he told us one time after his return from Russia about 20 years ago.
At that time the cold war with Russia was still a reality and the American Government and media was instilling fear in the the american people regarding a potential war. In this setting Yogi Bhajan returned from Russia to Espanola and told us the following.
Remember, this is to the best of my memory, Russia is such a beautiful country, they have the best cold showers there.
We in the West are lead to believe they are war like, this is not the case, they are a most beautiful and heart centered people, you know how a big bear can give you a big hug, this is how the Russian people really are.
